i need help on what to do…
Im 26, have been at my employer 3 years, and contribue around 6K into my 401K per year.
I know with cars it typically takes a while and I am a first time buyer so I didn't know what to expect.
I want to know a what im going to be looking at when my wife and i start house hunting . we are first time buyers are creadit scores are in the lower 800 and upper 700.
I'm soon moving into my own place and starting a job about a week later. I have been thinking about getting a credit card to help me get by until i get paid the first time. It would be used for gas, food, some essentials needed for the house, and some stuff i would need for work (clothing wise). Is this a good idea? i need advice and if possible some options. I'm not a student so i cant apply for a student credit card. I don't have anyone that can loan me money either.
1. Just financed a car with Chrysler credit
2. Am recieving an inheritance of $40.000.
3. Plan to purchase a home from $100.000 to 125.000, with 20% down payment.
4. Am trying to rebuild my credit.
5. Annual income is $43.000
6. I have a 401K and am contributing 10% of my income with my company's contribution being another 3%
I'm wanting to add on to my home but I've never used a home equity loan. I have used the refinance method where you borrow a little extra to add on. What would be the best now, with the way the economy is and the interest rates unstable?
