Would you like to do a Humour at Work (HAW) survey at http://opinio.online.swin.edu.au/s?s=3513?

Posted on Feb 08, 2010 under online surveys | 2 Comments

I am a PhD student at Swinburne University of Technology. This is the Centenary Year of Swinburne. As part of my research I have developed an internet survey of Humour at the Workplace. This study has met the requirements of the Research Ethics Committee at Swinburne and is described below:

Validating a measure of humour in the workplace.

Researcher- Maren Rawlings
Supervisor- Dr. Bruce Findlay

This study will explore the association between the Humour and Affect at Work (HAW) scale and other factors in the workplace. An anonymous questionnaire asks about how people feel and behave at work and how they see others behave in the workplace, as well as asking for some demographic information, such as age, sex, and the nature of the workplace (e.g. Manufacturing, Retail sales, etc.). Any provided information will be anonymous and only the researchers will have access to the data on an anonymous spreadsheet.

Online surveys? Do they really work? Is it a scam, how safe is it?

Obviously I don’t trust anything involving personal information over the internet, even PayPal and eBay were tough for me to trust.

What about those advertised online "work-at-home" advertisements that you see everywhere. Has anyone really tried those, paid the membership fee, and received an actual check from the company you worked for?

Does anyone have any suggestions or warnings? I have become interested in this, and I think if it works that I could make come money. Thanks for your time.

Does any1 know a free paid online survey site thats real and FREE? plz help me?

I really need the money and i got this email thru my drexel university email account and it was a job offer to join a website callled university-surveys.org. It requires a $30 fee. I read that the fee is going towards them maintaining your info and supplying you with surveys. Im really confused on whether i should try this or not. Has anybody ever used this? or does anybody know if its a scam?

Does anyone know if any of those online paid surveys work?
